and the baby expo at stadium melawati this weekend has been postponed =(

i already more or less finalized my list
searched the normal price for each item..so that i cud compare with expo price
booked Cititel..double confirmed my reservation..(kalut sungguh)
checked my plan for that particular weekend
and i think..i am ready!yeay

tp seminggu lagi lee..hahahha
sunggug tka sabar nak shopping
harap2 this expo wudnt disappoint me

Last week punye check up

Hehehehe..baru nak bercerita..ape daa..
anyway..i was 26 weeks. buat check up kat KK presint 3 Putrajaya

1) saye still takut ngan alat utk cucuk jari tu..bunyi macam stapler..mmg rasenye sgt "oucch". seb baek nurse yg tukang amik darah tu pandai melawak. my hb level still acceptable 11.6

2) as expected..berat saye naik 3.3kg! terkojut nurse tu..sbb last month naik sekilo jah..ape lagi..start le dia membebel..soh saye kurangkan pengambilan karbo (nasi, mee, bihun, roti)..siap ugut lagi, klu next month naik lagi 3kg..dia nak kasi saye minum air gule yg sgt terkenal dgn ketidaksedapannya iteww..takuttttt..huhuhu

3) but nurse tu ok la..manyak tanye..and banyak kasi info..then saye informed her pasal problem uri tu..dia ckp..klu masih lagi kat bawah..mmg kne tahan kat hospital dah ni for monitoring (gov procedure)..so dia benarkan saye jumpe gynae kat bilik sebelah

4) i tot dr akan buat scan..tp hampaaaaaaa..dr ckp still early utk check if uri dah naik ke belum :( better tunggu 28 weeks, which is kne tunggu next check up la..dr kate..if check skang pon..maybe still rendah lagi..nanti saye pon stress lagi..huhu..ok baiklahh..saye sabar menunggu..

5) iye la tuhh saye sabar..yg saye desperate sgt nak buat scan this week sbb kalu buleh nak check jugak keadaan uri camne..huhuhuhu..so ari ni nak pegi buat scan kat equine seri kembangan..dekat ngan opis..so bleh le kuar kejap :D

6) pas jumpe dr, kne amik suntikan tetanus..errr sakit tu takde sakit sgt..tp bile dia masukkan ubat tu agak sakit jugak..uhuks..and skang ni tempat yg disuntik tu cam keras n bengkak sket..n gatal2..normal kah?takde la obvious sgt bengkaknye, klu sentuh baru dpt rase la..tp saye takde demam ke ape..hopefully ok je kot..next check up kne amik suntikan tetanus utk kali kedua

disappointed.

saye dah buat appointment dgn klinik ajwa, seksyen 7 shah alam utk buat detailed scan +3D +4D..i have been told that here is the cheapest place to do the scan, as well the sonographer is Pn Anson, the same person who does the detailed scan at An-Nur and Ampang Puteri and other private hospitals/clinics as well.

i did the appointment 2 weeks ago..mule2 ingat nak buat last week, but they told me, better buat detailed scan after 28 weeks!..last week saye baru 26 weeks, and if im not mistaken, my colleague told me, detailed scan kne buat before 28 weeks. saye dah pelik, berulang kali tanye klinik tu btol ke kne buat after 28, and they confirmed it.

tp saye degil jugak..so saye set appointment this weekend..they said ok, tp klu tak nampak, mmg bad luck for me la. cuak kejap bile diorang ckp cemtu. tp sy berkeras nak buat jugak.
they said they will call me once diorang dah confirmed dgn sonographer.

i waited for almost 10 days..tp takde pon..so ari ni, i called them back..and guess what..they said sonographer tak available this weekend..sbb dia cuti..so kne buat on the 7th May (i dah plan nak pegi Midvalley) or on the 14th (i pulak balik kg). mase ni mmg dah geram sgt..becoz, they didnt have the courtesy to inform me earlier!

then i called an-nur bangi, but unfortunately, it is fulled till next week. and org an-nur ckp, detailed scan only can be done before u reach 28 weeks!!..haa ni mama godzilla mmg rase nak mengamuk kat org2 kat klinik ajwa!

so skang ni, im kalut ribut cari affordable + available place utk buat detailed scan +3D +4D before end of this week. eeiiii geram btol rase.

btw..i bukak facebook organizer expo kat stadium melawati tu..errmm expo tu dah ditunda ke bulan November :( so tinggal expo kat Midvalley je la untuk sopping mopping..

babymoon?

we are planning some short escapes for the coming weekends..
well..firstly, i owe him a birthday celebration..huhuhu
secondly, i personally feel like going on vacation..rase cam dah lame tak pegi bercuti..huhu
but of course..it has to be short
as we would like to berjimat-cermat dgn cuti tahunan masing2..so bile dah ade baby,tetibe nak cuti ke ape..senang sket :D
pestu kewangan tak mengizinkan..as our priority is keperluan utk our baby
so weekend getaway dah memadai

next weekend is a long weekend (luvvv) thanks to labour day.
we didnt have any plan at the beginning
but suddenly, my hubby suggests, why not kite pegi melaka
makan2 kat sane..while visiting his brother.
saye rase sungguh teruja..because i have been craving for a nice good cendol and abc(with ice cream on top and extra jagung plss) for months!
slalunye pegi makan cendol kat paparich..tp tak puass..huhuhu
we are not sure if we are going to spend a nite there or balik hari
yg penting..pegi utk makan! i like!

the next2 weekend pulak ada mom & baby expo kat midvalley
so we are going to spend our weekend there
already booked Cititel..hehhe
actually..few months before our marriage
saye TERbeli voucher renaissance prestige plus (worth it)
so ade banyak la jugak voucher dlm tu for rm588 klu tak silap
and one of them is stay kat Cititel at discounted price
so alang2 ade voucher ni..ape kate pakai je..senang sket nak shopping kan?
kaki sakit je balik hotel rehat..haha
cume satu je muskil..nak parking kat mane?normal parking ke or mmg ade direction ke parking khas utk cititel residence?

and finally, our unconfirmed plan to Langkawi
redzuan bought the flight tickets last year for both of us
the tickets were so cheaappp..so kami main pilih je beli kat mane2 tarikh..
skali tarikh yg dipilih (weekend 24 June) tu, saye insya-Allah dah 35 minggu
huhuhu tak sure lepas ke idak nak naik flight
and larat ke idak lagi utk bersuka ria di langkawi
so for this, we are going to seek gynae's advice

tak tau nak start cite dari mane..too many things happened in a very short period
and my hormon level has gone up and down ever since
ni pon takde idea nak update, cume tgn gatal nak menulis and nak bercerita and nak meluahkan perasaan..
owh no no no..i will not allow any luahan session dlm blog ini..as i always keep my feelings hidden.. ::wink::

1) went to my sis's at alor setar, to pick up all my boxes..i asked her a few baby stuffs when she was in the uk. the trip was tiring, my legs were awfully swollen (sampai nak lipat jari kaki time semayang pon tak bleh)..however i enjoyed meeting my family (my parents were there too). thanks tik for the presents and help..nanti ore bayar :D hehehhe

2) warehouse sales are coming, started with Pureen this weekend. I am not sure nak pegi ke idak..as bende yg I cari maybe wipes, detergent and bottle washer. Baju dah cukup kot..terlebey cukup, thanks to my family yg awal2 dah kasi hadiah..hehehehhe

however, i am looking forward to the next warehouse sales (kat stadium melawati and mid valley) sbb saye rase harga barang2 baby maybe lagi murah kot. so dgn gigihnye, saye cari dan list down semua barang2 yg saya nak. nanti nak shopping bleh terus compare..hehhe call me cheapskate if u want, tp saye suke buat plan and budget =)

so memandangkan saye tak pnah pon survey harga barang kat mane2 kedai (selalunye just masuk, tgk, pegang2, komen, then blahhh..hahhaa), the only source that i cud have was internet. antara online store yg di intai were:

3) tgh hari td baru usha satu nursery kat taman putra puchong..dekat la jugak..15 mins gitu dari office. not bad..tp kami blum decide lagi. tp at least rase lega sket la

4) hormon level dah makin tak menentu..sy mudah terase, tersentap, tersentuh, risau, pestu nangis..huhu..seb baek naik angin nye belum lagi..dugaan btol. seb baek en suami sayang tu sabar melayan.alhamdulillah.

5) makin kuat makan..hahahahha..this month dgn jayanye berat saye naik 3 kg..abih le..check up ari khamis ni..kompem kne tego ngan nurse.

6) dah buat appointment utk detailed scan on the 30th..mase tu insya-Allah dah 27 minggu..harap2 semua ok.

7) my appointment dgn gynae DEMC was canceled, sbb gynae tu ade hal..and nak reschedule balik punye la payah..sbb gynae tu bz..timetable penuh manjangg..so sepatutnye jumpe 30.04, kne tunda kpd 18.5 :( i dunt blame demc or the gynae..tp rase sungguh keciwe (ok salah kan hormon saye..hehe)

8) tgh mencari info about breastmilk, and expressed breastmilk (EBM). tak tau pulak susah juga ye nak menyusu..dan nak handle EBM ni..saye nak manual plsss! (habit seorang engineer yg mmg pepehal rujuk kpd manual :D)

nursery

we havent found any suitable nursery for our little baby yet.
tak tau nak anta mane actually
we live in kota kemuning, and work at cyberjaya, which is 40 mins by car.

i think, it would be nice if the nursery is near to our office
senang nak pegi if ade masalah pepe
kalau kne balik lambat pon, tak pening kepala nak pegi amik anak (avoid OT charge..huhuhu)
pestu..klu anta dekat sini..sempat la kan main ngan anak dalam keta
klu tak..kol 7 lebey baru sampai umah..skali anak dah menguap nak tido
huhuhu

the only nursery kat cyber ni dah full!
the nearest place is putrajaya, tu pon my SIL ckp mostly dah full
dan jugak ade banyak accident (as reported on the news)
risau saye bile membacanya
seriously i cudnt understand, how people cud just do business by risking babies' health/life?
and bile la gov ni nak invest dlm perkara2 seperti keselamatan di nursery..at least force all the companies to provide a nursery to their employees kee..haha
next to putrajaya is seri kembangan.
the only prob is, nak masuk situ after 5 mmg jam ya amat.
bile ntah dia nak besarkan flyover tuh.

another choice is (as suggested by my mom and bro) to hire a maid. which i cant agree.
i dunt like having a maid. i dunt know how to manage and give orders.
i dunt know how to membebel, and i must end up doing things by myself when i am not satisfied. and i love my privacy. i love wearing/doing anything that i like in my own house.

i know it must be tiring as work loads are going to pill up when my baby is born. but i am willing to try to be a supermom and superwife. and i would like to see my hubby becomes a superhubby. muhahhhaa..owh he has been wonderful since i know him..keep surprising me, honey!

plus, i dunt think we can afford all the fees in order to have a maid, it is toooo expensive, and there is still a risk that she might wanna come here just to create trouble and berpoya2, instead of working as a maid. tak kose mokcik nak sesakkan kepala. lagipon, bukan semua maid reti jaga baby. so klu ting tong ting tong..same je risk anta ke nursery and risk amik maid.

so back to my main question..nak anta kat mane?uhuks

24 weeks =)

dah masuk 6 bulan!! :smile: so another 3 months to go :smile:
so far, i feel good. tak sabar nak bershopping of course
but i already got presents from my sis and sil (thanks a lot)
so rasenye..baju-baju tu..dah tak payah beli dahh kot..huhu

anyhow, my weight is still normal (kottt..sesuka hati jah ckp normal..skali check up, kne bebel..huhu)
perut..err makin ketat je rase.
my belly button dah siap terjojol kuar..normal kah?gerun plak nengok..huhu
betis pulak start rase cam nak cramp..malam2 sebelom tido sy kne angkat kaki ke atas, utk kurangkan water retention..klu tak mmg nampak kaki bengkak
pestu sy semakin mengah..nak gi opis dah semakin malas..opss ape kaitan? hihi

currently, sy still minum anlene waktu pagi, tp tambah milo ngan oat..huhu
dah tak leh nak telan susu sahaja, maybe sebab it is warm milk
tp sungguh rase loya (even though anlene tu manis2 la jugak)
so my daily breakfast is susu milo+oat dgn dua keping wholemeal bread sapu kaya n butter..kadang2 tu 3 keping :D

saye pon dah rajin letak anti-strech mark oil kat perut, thighs and breast
since 5 bulan lagi sebenarnye..days and nights.
so far, blom ade ape2 mark lagi..alhamdulillah.

cant wait for the next check up..nak tgk kedudukan plasenta camne

what shud I know about breastmilk?

As I am approaching my 6 months of pregnancy,
I become excited on the preparation of our baby,
and of course, i regularly open pregnancy books, babycenter, the bump and all sort of website related to pregnancy
in order to monitor my changes, my baby's growth etc.

And suddenly I realize, there's something that I have missed.
which is knowledge preparation for newborn.
sampai lani, if i bukak all those books and website, i akan bace part pregnancy je
tak pnah jengok pon pasal birth (blame to those pictures time nak lahirkan anak yg buat saye kecut perut dan rase ngilu..huhuhu)
tak pnah jugak bace pasal camne nak jaga baby, berapa ounce newborn baby minum susu setiap kali? or berapa kerap baby minum?
meaning to say, saye just concentrate mengenai pregnancy sahaja!

walhal, pengetahuan utk menjaga baby nanti is important as well.
last friday, i just googled about breastmilk
as one of my colleague (who's going to deliver pretty soon) gave a set of breastmilk (BM) storage from MLO.
excitedd ok bile sy dapat hadiah tuu..sgt comeelll
so terus google about how to store breastmilk
and found this website: KellyMom which provides a reference card on how to store breastmilk, and on how to use the frozen/refrigerated breastmilk



believe me..it took me sometimes to understand the card
had to refer to my guru in BM, Farha, baru le saye paham
hahhahha

Quick summarize:

1. Nak simpan susu ibu ni banyak cara, and tempoh expiration nye depends on cara disimpan.
2. Newborn baby slalu minum 2 ounce je in average setiap kali menyusu, so simpan dlm kuantiti yg kecil (preferable 2 ounce). Klu simpan dlm kuantiti yg banyak, nanti tak abis minum, kne buang pulak.rugi
3. According to Farha, susu yg difrozen dan ingin digunakan, better biarkan di dalam refrigerator dulu (thawing) for 12 hours, then baru panaskan n kasi baby minum. Directly panaskan susu frozen ini adalah tidak digalakkan.
4. Susu ibu ni tak bleh digoncang macam susu formula yg kite slalu buat utk anak buah tu.
5. Some recommend to store BM dlm plastik, jimat space dr simpan dlm botol ni. But ari tu sy bace MLO, dia ckp tak digalakkan sbb bleh plastik tu bleh menyerap nutrisi susu tuh. And semalam, my auntie yg juga seroang doktor pon bg warning yg same kepada saye. So im going to stick with bottle storage.
6. My auntie jugak ckp..err botol2 susu yg kite beli tu..eventhough branded and BPA-FREE..kne slalu jugak tukar like setiap 6 bulan ke..sbb all plastic products tak bleh di-recycle infinitely. Eventhough botol tak rosak, tak bercalar, tp dia sarankan soh tukar jugak.

p/s: my auntie nak kasi breastpump Spectra3 kat saye..dia ckp by the time saye abis pantang tu, dia dah tak pakai dah BP tu..hihihi sukaa! my sis plak nak kasi manual BP Avent..which is a must have jugak! sukaa lagii! so skang tak payah pening2 nak beli BP and nak pilih mane yg elok..pakai ape yg ade sahaja =)
